I have a dell PowerEdge 2900 with a Perc 5/I (2050 LSI Logic) RAID controller, Service Tag [Service Tag removed per privacy policy]- I am trying to do a Symantec System recovery to this hardware. Symantec requires a RAID driver for windows VISTA. First, I don't see any non-server class drivers offered. And, secondly, the drivers for the Perc 5/I are all .exe files that install on a computer, not expand to drivers that I can then integrate into a custom bootable CD for Symantec. Any help on these two items:? What RAID driver should I used that would be compatible with windows Vista? How do I get the Driver for that in a non-installable form but an actual driver?
