linux users on windows 2003 server

I just added a windows 2003 server to a rack of linux servers. I want to authenticate users on the windows server against accounts on one of my linux servers. I see plenty of articles on how to authenticate linux users against windows accounts (using Active Directory), but not the other way around. Can anyone either point me in the right direction or tell me I'm nuts to think it's even possible? Thanks, David
