Graphics card help

Hi

Wonder if you could give some advice?
Have this pc ..
Dell Precision Tower 5810 Intel Xeon E5-1620 v3 [Quad] 3.50GHz NVIDIA Quadro K4200 32GB DDR4 240GB SSD DVD

Everything works great, I use it for photo editing using mostly Photoshop and lightroom.

Adobe have just rolled out an upgrade. To fully appreciate it I'd need a graphics card capable of running directx 12, mine is only capable of directx 11.

A)is it possible to upgrade to dx12
And if so....
B)how long does it take and what's the cost?

Thanks for any help

    Hello,

obviously yes, is possible to upgrade. The cost is variable and depends on the path you want to take ( a professional card / a gaming card  / new or used ).

By example, an used nvidia A2000 (doesn't require extra power) has the same performance of an rtx 3050/3060 and should be around 220/250 as price on average
