T7810 memory compatibility

Hi,

I just tried to boot my dual CPU T7810 with 2 xeon e5-2680. I have only 2 chips of 32gb, so, I am splitting one per CPU.

Some of you would probably guess that it did not work.

I'm ready to buy more memory to expand what I already have, but my question would be to see if anyone could guide me to make sure I'm not buying the wrong thing.

My current memory is :

SK Hynix 32gb 2Rx4 PC4 - 2400T - RB1 - 11

My goal would be buying 2 more so I could have 4 in total. Is that all compatible with the system?

Thanks in advance for you help

I'm still waiting to receive new memory and test it myself since I received no reply from anyone.

I upgraded memory in my T7600 shortly after purchasing it new from Dell.  I did not buy Dell memory at all.  I instead ordered:

    CT5322659 8GB, 240-pin DIMM Upgrade for a Dell Precision Workstation T7600 System

This is Crucial memory, and it works flawlessly without issue for years.  One note though is that it does not support Dell's memory reliability setting at all in the BIOS.  I had to disable it.

I actually wanted to order Dell memory at the time, but they were out of their fastest memory and were not getting more in stock for strange reasons.  Third-party suppliers were more than happy to accept my money instead.
