1320C driver installation problem
After reinstalling XP I've got everything working except the 1320c printer. I downloaded the drivers but when I tried to install them it went most of the way through
but came up with error "Cannot install this hardware - an error occurred during the installation of this device". Tried several times but always the same result.
PC is a Dimension 1100.
Any ideas?

Hi,
It seems to an issue with the USB port. Please unplug the printer from the system and follow the steps below to isolate the issue:
1. Please try another device on the USB port to determine if the USB port has gone bad.
2. In case USB port is working fine, you can try another USB cable for the printer.
3. Uninstall the printer from the Control Panel by clicking Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Select the Dell Printer Driver > Uninstall.
4. Once the driver is uninstalled, restart the computer.
5. Download the latest Driver of the printer. Please click on the link below which will take you to the driver’s website: http://dell.to/WvLNIi .Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer.
6. Install the driver, during the installation it would prompt to plug in the printer.
7. Please plug it the printer to a different USB port.
Please keep me posted with the results.
Thanks & Regards
