Dell 1815DN, with Vista using NetScan getting No Application on the 1815DN Display
Hi
I know that a lot of issues with NetScan on Windows Vista (I have Home Premium)
I'm seeing a very wired issue on my Dell M1330.
I have installed Dell Network Scan 1.06.15 (only this application with the 1815DN suite as I don't need the other parts)
It finds the Printer and connects, I do get a ! mark on the Dell Network Scan till I wake up the Printer.
When I go to Scan, finds the M1330 find, when I select that it comes back with the Error on the LCD of No Application.
I have uninstalled the Network Scan and removed readded the printer no joy. I have also made sure the Front Panel Destination List has what I want (in this case desktop), I have tried to add other applications no joy.
Rebooted both the PC and Printer still no good, can anyone help. (works fine on my XP Machine)

The current Vista Netscan application needs to run with administrator rights which requires a UAC prompt. Make sure you're doing this (though it should happen automatically). This will prevent it from launching at boot.
It may still have problems with wireless, though that's claimed as a fix -- I would do all testing over ethernet.
Make sure you don't have a personal (software) firewall blocking the application.
Lastly, make sure the printer firmware is up to date: 1.03.04.02
