New Computer(E510), old printer. Initially had trouble getting printer to work until I stumbled upon a discrepancy with the port settings. Everything fine and dandy for awhile...

Recently, I had to do a system restore to try to fix a faulty CD burner. Hooked printer back up and now I can't get it to work again. Noticed that LPT1 port is set up for an Intuit Internal Printer(where did that come from?). Recalled that I might've set the printer to print thru LPT3 but I'm not sure where I saw that, and in any case, doesn't seem to want to work there either.

I've checked the cables, made sure it was my default printer, installed drivers, tried to print on notepad, command prompt, etc. and nothing happens. Can anybody suggest what I might have missed or something different to try?
