Word in Works sets up its own Office folder so when you install another Office program from a different version, the default Office folder cannot be used. Just install the older Office program to a different Office folder--name it Office2000--instead of the same MS Office. You have to choose Custom Installation when installing Office 2000 and you also cannot install the Word part of Off 2k. The default Office folder contains common files that get overwritten by the older version Office component.
