Has the remote completely stopped working? (i.e., the power, menus, etc) Or has the remote mouse portion stopped working?

 

The M1A-Dsub/USB cable would affect the mouse capabilities since the video and mouse communications go through this cable.

 

But if the remote doesn't work basic functions, on/off, there might be an issue with either the remote or the projector.

You know I'm not sure. I'm only a tech and have never worked in sales. You'd have to speak to spare parts. The phone number is right next to the picture of the printer in the middle.

Is it possible to get the M1A-Dsub/USB cable by itself rather than purchase the whole cable packages avaiable on the Dell website?  From what i understand - the Dell cable is the only one that will work and I can't find it as a standalone - only in the replacement cable kit (for around $50).
