Is there a method for sorting a list?

Yes I know I could write an ASL function to do this, but I'm wondering if there's a method that isn't documented that will allow me to sort a list (from within in ASL)?

No, not that I'm aware of... and if you look at the existing ASL scripts, there is no use of any sort function. So:- as you know, you could... - or, you can reconsider the need of ASL for what you want to acheive.
