So I'm trying to go back to the default load on my dell computer when I load the cd it says it cannot load because the version of windows is newer on the computer. I started to try and delete the microsoft updates but there are alot and service pack 3 still shows a place holder I believe I did delete it along with service pack 2 but service pack 3 still shows in the add remove programs.

 

I have not deleted IE 8 and it's updates plus the medai player and security updates

 

I've also tried to boot from the cd but somehow I'm failing at this.

 

Any help would be much appreciated
