my new Dimension 8400 P4 3.2 will not recognize the DVD or CD drives.  How do I clear the NVRAM?  The articles in the knowledge base do NOT cover the 8400, which, the Dell tech tells me, has a completely new BIOS.  I have cleared the LOG, restored the factory default settings, but the computer still fails to see either optical drive.   System Restore doesnt work, Device Manager wont see the drives on a plug-n-play scan, Im lost.  Dell Tech Support in India ran me around for three days, giving me wrong info for my computer.  HELP?!
