PMA ERROR WHILE BURNING IMAGE FILE TO DISK

I am having Dell Inspiron i5 3543 laptop.Can anyone please suggest me how to rectify this error.I have tried burning image file to different disks ,tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software,used Microsoft troubleshooter but no luck.

If possible can you please provide me a direct link for firmware update of ODD used i.e

MODEL NAME:TSSTcorp DVD+-RW SU-208GB

VERSION-D100

OEM code:DE.

    Hi sanjeetkmetha,

    You are not providing enough detail. Please tell me:

    1. What operating system?

    2. What program are you using to burn the disc?

    3. Has the drive been used to burn discs successfully?

    4. What is the exact error? Hint, it's probably "PMA update failure".

    I am really sorry for not providing you enough details last time.

    1) I am currently using WINDOWS 8.1.

    2) I used Nero for burning image file.

    3 )Yes,last week I was able to burn the same image file successfully.

    4) YES,the error is "PMA UPDATE FAILURE".

    It's time to upgrade to a newer version of Nero -- Version 7 is not fully compatible with Windows 8 or 8.1.
