Disappearing Servers when using IT Assistant using force discovery

I am experiencing problems with discovery. During a discovery of a subnet range I have servers that will appear and then are replaced with the next server. It appears as if the last server in wins and will show up on IT Assistant. Does anyone have an answer?

Please help!

I'm having the exact same problem.  Did you ever find a resolution?

Thanks,

I actually got a response from ehood about the issue and it fixed my problem.  I'm running a bunch of vmware servers with virtual network cards that have the same mac address.  It seems that openmanage removes machines with the same mac address because it thinks it's coming across duplicate machines.  Anyway, here is the doc.  Check pages 38-39 http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/solutions/DiscoveryWhitepaper_Final.pdf

I ended up adding ELIMINATE_DUPLICATE_NAMES=0

Yep, that part was on page 33 I think.  Basically all the changes listed in this part of the doc pertain to dconfig.ini which is located in your it assistant's config directory (C:\Program Files\Dell\OpenManage\IT Assistant\configuration)

Hello, sorry to bother you again, would you mind telling me where you had to make this change? I would appreciate it. Thank you.
