My touch screen stopped working and I have reinstalled the chipset drivers multiple times and the touch screen still does not work. The driver is listed in device manager but is says "driver not migrated" on the error log. I have factory defaulted the tablet multiple times but the driver still will not install correctly. Is there another driver somewhere else that will install correctly and get the touch screen to work. There is no physical damage to the screen and when it is factory defaulting the unit the touch screen works until Windows fully installs. Please help I love this tablet and hate that I can not use it. The active stylus will connect via Bluetooth but will not write on the touch screen. The driver for that the pen says the same thing also :driver did not migrate".
Apologies that your computer is not working as expected. Perhaps not all the drivers installed when you did the reset. Have you tried resetting it again?
If you need further troubleshooting, perhaps talking to Tech Support might be helpful. You can contact Tech Support at 1-800-624-9896 or 1-800-288-4410, or you can initiate a chat session http://dell.to/2v4snVm
I have reset it multiple times and I am installing all of the drivers on the support page. I have tried tech support but because it is out of warranty they haven’t been able to help. What specific questions do I need to ask? Is there a total wipe of all the memory or settings I can try? I think it backs up some of the settings. Can I run a reset from a thumb drive or something?
