McAfee blocking automatic update of AT&T Yahoo Browser

I haven't had the exact same problem, but McAfee is blocking me from installing parental controls from Earthlink.  I had to give up on the parental controls. 

Miracle of miracles! With no visible intervention by anyone, the browser miraculously healed itself four(4) days after posting the original message. If anyone here silently had any influence on that "cure", thank you. It doesn't change my opinion of the dearth of McAfee Customer Support Service available as part of the purchase price. They will soon find that I will change the brand of my protection because of the lack of available service for a too-complex product that too often REQUIRES service (at least in the two years I've had their Security Center installed). Anyone have some good recommendatins for a replacement?
