If you live in the USA [or other countries that follow and have modified Daylight Saving Time computation], be advised that Daylight Saving Time will begin this coming Sunday night, March 11:   At 2 a.m., clocks should be advanced one hour, to 3 a.m.

 

Microsoft has released a series of patches... the earlier ones being "optional", the later one being deemed important/critical... to make this change automatically/correctly.   I believe the most recent update is listed as KB931836 , which can be obtained from Widows Updates. or from here:

This particular patch applies to Windows XP/Sp2 , and to Windows Server 2003.  

 

If you have not installed the update, then, using older laws that were originally in effect, your PC will not acknowledge Daylight Saving Time until 3 weeks later, on April 1st.

 

[You should also double-check your TV / VCR and any other products that contains a clock, which may no longer update itself correctly, lest your VCR record the "wrong" shows for you].
