I have a friend which works for those guys and apparently the issue is that there are some companies which cloned a single windows image incl. PSI installation to thousands of computers without knowing that every installation has its own unique ID. This means that when thousands of PC's go to their servers they all report as the same machine and that makes their servers irresponsive. Just installing PSI on corporate machines is by itself illegal but this thing is borderlining crazy.  I hope the service returns back to normal soon and that they take those idiots to the cleaners and sue them for the last penny they have.

Confirming:   PSI 2.x seems to be stalling (while trying to verify internet connection).   I used it last Sunday, and everything was fine then.

Same here- Secunia PSI will not run on any of my computers.
