VMAX Power Shutdown Procedure

Hi,

We have an emergency power shutdown scheduled due to an UPS failure today.

Can someone please suggest or share if there is any VMAX Power shutdown schedule.

We have VMAX 20K in our DC.

You can contact your local EMC Customer Service Rep to coordinate a gracefull power down. There is a shutdown script they'll run which can be done remotely. After it completes you'll be instructed to turn off the Zone A & B PDP breakers for System bay first then the attached Storage bays.

Before shutdown need to stop all the io's

Run HealthCheck make sure all is fine.

Sheron,

He is looking for VMAX20k procedure, for that script needs to be run on the array.
Customer doesnot have access to symmwin to run the script and CE or local team can help them to shutdown.
