DAE Count?
Hi All,
Please find the below screenshot and suggest how many DAE's connected here?.
Box: VNX 5500 (Unified)

8 DAE on bus 0 + 8 DAE on bus 1 = 16 DAE

It is a DPE (Disk Processor Enclosure)

In my Array Total DAE is 15 ; DPE is 1 right?

Total DAE are a result of max disk slots

For 5500, there is only DPE where the SPs reside and it also contains hard drives.

Should be 16. Since VNX5500 only supports max. 250 disks so they are all 15 x 3.5" DAEs?
