I need to configure a VNX5200 for NAS. The array comes with 50*1.2TB SAS drives. And there is no Flash drives. Should I go with RAID groups or pools.

When i go with pool, since there is no multiple tiers does it make sense?

If the pool is the better option, what configuration i go with, if i go with 8+1 R5, is that a good choice. Then i will need multiple pools.

Or should i opt for the R5 raid group and create multiple RGs.

Please help on this.
