I am looking for sizing information for customers implementing recent gen servers (with Nehalem CPUs). I am particularly interested in customers achieving very high user per core counts (>8). If possible with any customer sizing you are aware of. The information I’d like if you have it is:
- Server Make & Model
- Amount of installed RAM
- Number of CPU Sockets and cores
- Storage type (iSCSI, FC, Local (SATA or SAS)
- Memory footprint for host
- Memory footprint for VM
- # of cores per VM
- Average number of users per host
- The vertical the customer is in (FSI/Healthcare/Govt) or the industry in general. I do not need customer names and I will not approach customers.
Wow, nobody but Daniel is proud of the infrastructure they have in place. Please share if you have something that works well for your company, and share any pitfalls you encountered getting to where you are today.

Hi Patrick,
Our current infrastructure is pointless to cover due it's age however... I'll email you our next infrastructure ASAP - remind me next week if I forget
