The start up on my Dell Inspiron 531 recently became currupt so I attempted to reinstall Vista to solve the problem, however, when I put the Vitsa disc, or the driver disc supplied with my computer they do not load up at all. They are just unrecognised as if there is no disc in there. I have been sent a second set of discs and the same thing happened. I managed to borrow some Dell Windows XP discs to install that for now and they worked straight away, both from boot and in the OS now I have XP on there. The problem I have is I cant get all the drivers I need for XP to run properly on the monitor and I want Vista back on anyway, yet these discs still do not load up from boot or in Windows XP. I've spoken with Dell numerous times and its like talking to a brick wall. Anyone had this problem or have any ideas?
