Display Properties

How can you add the Screen Saver and Desktop back to Display Properties. A virus removed these. This is for XP Home.

Have to ask - have you already tried reverting to a known good system restore point? Other than this I'd try a system file scan to replace any missing files and see what happens.

Found this as well with a Google search that may be worth a try, too.

Just found a vbscript that is suppose to fix this problem. here is the site if anyone else needs this.

We purged all the restore points due to a nasty virus. I will try the Kellys Corner fix.
