Hi thanks alot but that really didnt help me out at all , it took me to this thing that i have to download to  scan this puter then pay to fix and i didnt want to fix i am trying to load the  motorola phone tools for my phone and it loaded but wont open tells me it cant cause the GRCONV.DLL wasnt found...... here is my yahoo name kerrishannon71 if u have that....

try this www.driverskit.com in the search section check off the part that says search dlls type in grconv.dll it will take you to the download page. from what i can see it restores the file that you are missing. it doesnt sound like a scan to fix the pc. if this doesnt work someone else might be able to solve this for you.

i tryed that already adn it was telling me at first that this was worng these two things  missing grconv.dll and /pbkinstall.dll  then i went to this what u just send me and did step by step what it said to do but when i went to the on your computer, go to start > run > regedit > navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > system > current control set > control
I couldnt see the names disable8dot3namecreation or the ntfsdisable8dot3namecreation to change it from 1 to 0

nope didnt work, i have been at this all dang day trying to download the motorola phone tools 4.0.3 for my phone and this is what is haooening lol grrrrrrrr

no i got the cd for phone tools from a lady that works at my cell phone company.....

i dont knwo but i am getting so upset right now been at this all dang day lol and now cant get  the grconv.dll grrrrrr

the only last thing i can think of is maybe the cd is bad. otherwise im out of ideas for the moment. :)
