I'm getting the following error message:

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I get the message above whenever I attempt to access the Fonts folder from the Control Panel, or when I try to open it on the C drive using Windows Explorer. When I try to access it, Windows Explorer shuts down,the desktop comes back, and I am able to continue using the computer. It does not seem to be affecting any other computer function. There appears to be only one way to see the contents of the Fonts folder: In Windows Explorer, I can select (but not open) the Fonts folder in its location in C/Windows/Fonts. I then do an all-inclusive Search within Fonts, and the Search results give me the contents of the Fonts folder. Using this method only, I can see what's inside the fonts folder. Double-clicking on it or trying to open it in any other way results in the crash above.
