How to find administrator password ?
I have a Dimension 9200 with Win XP .
I have to re-install a file ( " system32\hal.dll. " ) and are trying to do this from the Dell-DVD, that was delivered with the PC , by running option " R " .But then I am asked for the administrator pasword . This I never used and do not know what it is .
Cann anyone help me on this please ?

Download Ophcrack for XP. It is an iso file so when you have downloaded it burn the image to a CD. Then put the CD into your CD drive, reboot and make sure your computer boots from the CD. When it has booted it will give you a list of all the users on your computer and their passwords. Make sure you download the XP version.

Windows default password is none. Just directly click enter key.
