How to update window XP from home version to professional version
I have a retail version of window XP professional and I tried to upgrade my Dimension 9100 from Window XP home version to Professional version.
After I boot the CD, the hard disk can not be recognized. I am wondering if there is a special procedure to upgrade this computer from XP home to XP professional.

You need to install the drivers for your hard drives. Although it applies directly to a Dimension 8400 the information here may be helpful.
