new xp pro install
have old latitude c-400
Installed new valid xp pro purchased from microsoft.
Works fine. I just tryed to update windows explorer 7.0
Microsoft says my xp pro won't validate, contact dell?
My valid key is not the same as the key on the bottom 0f the c400. is there somthing in dells bios or hard wired that wants only there oem verision?
