Norton Anti-virus Re-install
I ran live update without selecting Symevent and now it will not stay in auto protect. Symantec says to delete & reinstall, however I do not have a Norton CD. The computer came with the 90 day trial version of NAV 2003 and is 1 month old. (Dimension 4600).
Is the software on a Dell CD?
I have purchased 3 Dimension 4600's within last 6 weeks, can I use the Norton CD from one of these( they came with free 1 yr. subscriptions to NAV)?

Yes this came with the system on the Dell Installed Programs CD.

Thanks for the quick reply, when I 'explore' the Application CD with Antivirus software listed in the Contents, I do not see anything with the word 'Norton' in it. I'm a little reluctant to uninstall until I'm sure I have a back-up copy on hand. How can I be sure that Norton A?V 2003 is on that Dell CD?

If you are exploring the disk then you would go to the APPS folder then the NAV folder NAV stands for Norton Anti-Virus. The contents of this folder is what was installed on your system.
