Hi everyone! I'm brand new to this board and am happy to be here.

I have Norton Internet Security 2004. Norton Firewall keeps blocking

my internet connection (I use Comcast high speed cable). I know it's

the firewall because as soon as I disable it, I can get Comcast fine.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled NIS to no avail. I have even created

a rule in Firewall under General, then Advanced Settings to allow

Comcast access to my computer. I set it to accept Inbound and

Outbound, TCP access and tried allowing all communications, as

well as limiting it to ports 25, 110 (for email) and 80, 88 and 443 for

internet browsing. I have also gone under Ad Blocking and added

the Comcast site there with full permission and access, since this

resolved an earlier problem I was having with Internet Radio being

blocked.

I've been dealing with this problem for three weeks now with a lot

of downtime in my business. I've spent hours researching common

Norton Firewall problems through Google but the problem still persists.

Any help on how I can get my Norton Firewall to stop blocking the

Comcast site and my internet access would be hugely appreciated!
