Norton will not operate properly
First problem - After I installed Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware on my Windows XP Dimension 3000 desktop, I tried running my Live Update. In order to do that I had to connect to the internet. I tried connecting and could'nt do so. I figure that the firewall that was installed by Norton was preventing me from doing this. I received instructions from Symantec that advised me to click on the Norton program and to change the firewall settings so as to permit some AOL files on the computer. When I tried accessing the Norton program I get the following message: Symantec Integrator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. They then ask me if I want to send an error report. Now I'm stuck as far as being able to operate Norton. Second problem - Also after installing Norton I get this message : Norton Internet Security - New network detected. - To join this network, choose the security settings you want to use. It then asks me , What location do you want to use? It gives me two choices: Make a selection or Use custom settings. I'm then supposed to click, "OK" After I do that, nothing happens. Because of these problems, I've uninstalled Norton. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
