After upgrading my Vostro 3350 to Windows 8 yesterday, I noticed that the Mobility Radeon graphics card had been disabled by the system (error code 43). I suspected it to be a driver issue, therefore I tried to download the latest drivers from
but I recieve an error (Sorry, the requested file could not be downloaded.). I had to downgrade to the latest Win 7 drivers to temporarily fix that, but in the long run I would like to use the correct drivers.
Can somebody from Dell please have a look at that and fix the download?
The driver that you have installed on your computer is also compatible with Windows 8 64-bit. You can click on the same link above and check under compatibility. For more information you can check the image below:
Drivers for Windows 8 are being updated on support website. You can check for the updated drivers later as well.
P.S. the driver you installed is not compatible with Windows 8 uninstall it, we have seen the driver description on the drivers and downloads page in several cases to be a bad copy and paste job.
The information on the Dell ftp website says its just for Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit.
