I did the free upgrade to windows 10 a while back on my xps 8700 with no problems but just had to reset the cmos because was having an issue powering up. In doing so windows is no longer activated and Microsoft needs my original product key to re-active 10.  I read where the keys are injected into the motherboard... Is there any way to get this? thanks for any help
