Windows 8.1 Pro Update Causing "SecureBoot isn't configured correctly" Watermark

I'm almost sure I will get some kind of glitches because I'm using an overclocked GPU ROM...I'll try out some games and let you know how it goes.

thanks murdoctor my freeze is random at best and its almost always when i wake up in the morning it will be frozen. 

i'm on nvidia i will do that uninstall and re do them i never thought of doing that. 

No freezing so far, and almost better image quality for everything, plus with secure boot enabled I think its using Ultra Fast Boot because it takes me like 3 seconds to get into Windows once I power up. Off the top of my head, have you tried to reinstall AMD's CCC for your system and card models after you reflashed? Its recommended to do so!

In fact, I just did a complete uninstall and reinstall of the catalyst drivers...I recommend staying away from the latest beta drivers, they have issues! I needed an HDMI cable connection though since that's the default output on my GPUs in order to successfully uninstall everything, because usually I go with DVI inputs to get 240Hz so I can completely eradicate <ADMIN NOTE: Substitute character removed as per terms of use> on Call of Duty. So when you try uninstalling new beta drivers you gotta really wipe them and stick to the basics in IO to the monitors I suppose :)

yup i got it up and going just a video bios update did it for me.

have you both managed to get secureboot enabled and watermark gone?

I badly need a fix :(

I appeal to the forum admin and Dell staff, there are news on the timing of the release of any bios/firmware to solve this annoying problem, my pc is Alienware X51 R1

Yeah, I had to uninstall the latest catalyst beta drivers with secure boot disabled (they were messing my system up), then I ran the AMD cleanup utility to REALLY get them off my system, booted with Secure Boot on, then installed the latest 13.9 catalyst drivers, and all is good :D

Microsoft has released a fix that removes this annoying watermark!

Finally, it has come. However, let me express my feelings about this. From what I've done so far, its both joy and sadness. You will be susceptible to rootkits if you bypass this check. At least it tells you if your computer may have this type of malware. Rootkits are among the WORST types of malware, because in most cases, not even your antivirus will be able to detect them. Firmware rootkits hide, as their name dictates, in firmware. They might be in your GPU ROM, they might be in your computer's BIOS, they might be in hardware devices, and so forth. When dealing with firmware rootkits, removal may require hardware replacement, or specialized equipment to scan your hardware. Firmware rootkits lie on the hardware layer, not necessarily on the OS layer. They might be in your system's compiler. The higher the layer they are on, the more control they have. Even though most of you have already unknowingly answered "yes" since you did not see this issue come up in Windows 8, the question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to give up knowing that your computer is not under your control just to remove a watermark from your desktop? Secure Boot computes a hash from most of your firmware devices. A hash is a one-way computation, so on a reboot, if the hash changes, Windows will let you know. Then, it'll be up to you to decide if your system has been compromised or not (maybe you just upgraded a device, or maybe...someone has installed a new firmware device on your system to monitor you, or maybe...a virus overwrote sectors in your firmware, and will soon start having fun with your Windows release)...I'd play it safe, fellas. Of course, this is all hypothetical, and I don't think its very often most users are exposed to rootkits, but its important to explain how this can affect you.
