When I select the Windows Update, I receive the following message back after it attempts to look for available updates:

Error number:  0x8DDD0002

"To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.  If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might also prevent you from completing this procedure."

I am the only user of my stand-alone PC and my login setup indicates that I have Administrator capability.  Have not had any previous issues getting Windows updates up to this point.  Does anyone know how to correct this problem?
