I purchased a dell C521 with the option to upgrade to vista at a later time. In fact it was preloaded with Vista and I oredered it downgraded to Win xp knowing thta vista wasnt to service pack 1 yet. Now they tell me  that the system cant be upgraded. The only option is a clean install.

Why did I pay for the upgrade option? So they could charge me for extended support. I keep getting transferred. Oh it's a software issue. (hang up) oits a hardware issue. I'll transfer you (hang up)

Basically I paid for somthing and they bait and switched. This is unacceptible. I have an account with Dell and bought 5 pcs with this option. Looks like my next purchase wont be from Dell.
