Hello

i just got my new dell xps 8300 from and having trouble already. So i'm wondering should i return it before the time runs out or see if someone on here can help me with the issues that i have. i called technical support on saturday and they tried to help me but the same problem is repeating itself.  

Once i got the computer up and running i decided to get the updates to make it current. Well thats when all my problems started up. For some reason the monitor would just turn off. when i look at my keyboard the the power is on and the keyboard is functional but the monitor is still off.  I rebooted several times and it just repeats itself.  When i go on the this forum i have read several reports claiming its the computer or its the video card. it makes me think its the video card but i dont know if thats the case or the computer has issues.  Also the technical support had me reformat start over and the problem continues.  

i have xps 8300 i7 with 1TB HD 

the video card looks like they provided in the pci slot with 3 external ports, hdmi, dvi and svga.  i am using 2 monitors -1 hdmi and 1 svga

Interesting enough when i origingally did everything i was using 1 monitor and everything worked out ok, but when i switched to dula monitors the issues began. The video card that was provided looks like nVidia and i installed the latest version or update Geforce GT530 of the website.  

So any thoughts or suggestion do i contact Dell and the technical support and waste another 3 to 4 hours of nonsense, do i replace the video card and see thats the problem and not the software as dell claims it can be.
