Error Printing-WSD Issue
Hello,
I have a Dell XPS 15 9560 Laptop and a HP OfficeJet 8720 Printer. Whenever I try printing, I get an error stating that either the printer is offline or there was an error in printing. This only happens to my computer in my home network, all other computers print fine. The print queue just shows the documents waiting indefinitely. After rebooting, resetting, re-installing drivers, and doing a fair share of research, I found that creating a manual TCP/IP port for my printer has fixed the issue. This means that my WSD port is not working. I would just leave this as is but the thing is that my router does not give the printer a fixed IP address and i do not have access to the router to make the changes to keep it one address. My main concern is that one regular consumer should ever have to learn how to do this and go through this headache. Anyways, what are the solutions for fixing my WSD port?
