When you've completed your purchase, Dell will provide an estimated delivery date, which you can review in your Order Confirmation email or online.

This estimated date will vary depending on your choice of a Smart Selection or Build to Order product.

How We Estimate Delivery Times

We aim to be as accurate as possible when estimating delivery times. However, actual delivery dates are subject to change based on a number of conditions, including:

  • Length of time it takes your payment to clear
  • Availability of items in your order
  • Delivery method
  • Shipping provider
  • Factory location
  • Your delivery address
  • Holiday periods

If your order contains non-Dell-branded products and peripherals (such as Logitech® keyboards), these products will be delivered separately from your Dell system or accessories order.
Dell’s estimated shipping and delivery times commence upon order confirmation. Your order will be confirmed once payment has been received by Dell.

Smart Selection Terms

  • Smart Selection products typically have an estimated delivery time of 2–3 business days from order confirmation for shipment to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Wollongong and Newcastle. For all other locations, road freight is used and estimated delivery times will be longer.
  • If your orders contains both a Dell system and accessories, these products may be delivered separately.
  • Your Smart Selection order is subject to Dell’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale that are available on request or at
  • In the event of your selected product being out of stock, we will supply you with product direct from our manufacturing facility, and estimated delivery times will be longer.
  • Because of the transport method, we are using to make this as fast as possible, someone will need to be at the nominated address to accept delivery, regardless of the location.

1. Terms and Conditions for Next Business Day Delivery
  • Next Business Day Delivery is available for In-Stock and Ready-To-Ship systems only. For delivery to metro area of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
  • Order must be placed with our CHAT Sales Expert before 12pm (AEDT).
  • Payment must be made by Credit Card (Visa and Master Card) only. Order will be delivered next business day upon full credit clearance.
  • Order quantity limited to 1 system order with less than 5kg.
  • If your order contains non-Dell-branded products and peripherals. These products will be delivered to you separately.
  • Next Business Day Delivery may be provided outside of normal business hours and will not apply on public holidays.
  • Your Next Business Day Delivery is subject to Dell’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale that are available on request or at

Build to Order

For build to order products, Dell configures to your specifications and will provide you a “ships in” date range, which is the approximate date range by which your order will ship from the factory.

Delivery of your product after it has shipped from the factory will typically be within the following timeframes:
