In the ‘In the SpotLight’ series, Arnaud Bacros, Dell Technologies General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg, talks with colleagues in the Belux organization. In this issue, Arnaud speaks with Alain Van den Heuvel, Sales Director for medium business with Dell Technologies.
Alain starts the conversation by looking back at the past year: “Companies had to implement a strategy that enabled employees to work from home within a very short period. That did not just mean the purchase of new hardware and software, but also the accelerated adoption of hybrid and Cloud, and SaaS models.”
The conversation continues about security issues that make the news almost on a daily basis. “When I talk with customers, often they do not know how to address the problem. My advice is to have an assessment performed in order to determine the existing situation and to identify vulnerabilities. Together with our Channel Partners, who play a large role for us, Dell Technologies is able to optimally secure the entire stack from endpoint to data center.”
