How to replace Fan for PowerEdge R230

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a Fan for the PowerEdge R230.

Prerequisites
NOTE: : The procedure for removing each fan is identical.

Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Remove the cooling shroud.
If required, remove the cooling shroud.

Removing a cooling fan:
Disconnect the power cable from the power connector on the system board by pressing the sides of the power cable.
Lift the fan out of the cooling fan bracket.

Installing a cooling fan:
Lower the fan into the cooling fan bracket.
Connect the power cable to the power cable connector on the system board.

Install the cooling shroud.
Follow the procedure listed in the After working inside your system section.
