Before you run a full system scan with SupportAssist, make sure your computer stays connected to its power source throughout this process, and all files are saved and closed. Click on the Windows “Start” button to search for and open SupportAssist. In the “Support” tab, click on “Get started” under “Test my hardware”.
Expand “I want to troubleshoot my PC” and select “I want to scan my entire PC”. Click on “Start” and then “OK” to confirm. SupportAssist will scan the entire computer, including the display and other connected devices. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer when prompted.
