In this video, we'll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First, loosen screws and remove bottom cover. Next unplugged battery. Then unscrew and remove battery.
Then separate clips and remove memory. Unscrew and remove SSD bracket. Then remove SST. Now unscrew and remove dock frame. Then unscrew and unplug wireless antennas. Next remove wireless card. Now unscrew and remove heat sink. Next to unplugged DC Jack.
Now unscrew and remove DC Jack. Then unscrew and remove EDP cable. Then unplug and remove CMOS battery. Next to unscrew hinges and remove LCD display assembly. Now unscrew and remove motherboard. Next, unplug cables and remove keyboard.
Now unscrew keyboard bracket and turn over keyboard. Then unscrew and remove keyboard. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
