How to Remove the LCD Panel on Alienware 17 R3

This video will demonstrate the removal procedure of an LCD Panel for Alienware 17 R3.

Welcome to Dell tech support. In this video, we'll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First unscrew and remove access door. Then disconnect battery cable. Now unscrew and remove wireless bracket. Then disconnect antenna cables and remove wireless card.

Now disconnect cables from motherboard. Then remove palmera screws. Now separate and turn over palm rest. Now disconnect and remove palm rest. Then unscrew and remove hinge covers. Next, remove rear hinge screws. Then disconnect cables from motherboard.

Now unscrew and remove display assembly. Now use fingertips to separate and turn over bezel. Then disconnect and remove bezel. Now unscrew and turn over screen. Then disconnect and remove LCD screen. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
