In this video, we show how to replace the memory on a Dell Pro 24 All-in-One Plus QB24250. on a Dell Pro 24 All-in-One Plus QB24250. To begin, turn off your computer and disconnect all peripherals. Ensure that you always use ESD protection when working inside the computer.
Place your computer display down on a clean and flat surface. Press and hold the securing tab, then slide the stand toward you and lift the stand off your computer. Press down on the securing tab then slide and lift to remove the back cover. Locate the DIMM door on the system board shield Using the securing tab on the door, pry open and lifted off the shield, exposing the location of the memory slots.
Carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory module slot until the it pops out. Lift the memory at an angle and remove it from its slot on the system board. Perform this procedure againif there is a second memory module installed To avoid static damage, ensure that you have ESD protection equipped, and avoid touching the metallic contacts or any components on the memory when handling it.
To Install the memory. Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the slot and slide it in. Then, press down on the memory module until it clicks into place. Perform this procedure again if you need to install a second memory module. Replace the DIMM door and press it into place.
Place and align the back cover on your computer before sliding it into place. Align the tabs on the stand with the slots on the back cover. Then slide the stand into place.
