Here's how to restore your OS10 switch to the factory defaults. Please note that after the switch is reset you will not be able to log in remotely via SSH or telnet. Perform these steps over a console connection. You may want to save the current configuration for reference, or to restore later.
If you do, run 'show running-configuration | no-more', then save the output to a text file. Run 'system bash' to enter the Linux shell. Then run 'sudo -i' and enter your admin password to run as root. Confirm the 'startup.xml' file is present at the expected location.
You'll see the total size of the directory, and the file size and name. Then do the same for the redis database file 'dump.rdb'. Remove 'startup.xml', then 'dump.rdb'. Check the file locations again to confirm they've been deleted. Then sync and reboot the switch. You can see the hostname has been changed back to the default 'OS10'. Thanks for watching
