Format Description:
This file format consists of a BIOS executable file. The Universal (Windows/MS DOS) format can be used to install from any Windows or MS DOS environment.
Note 1: Ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption before updating BIOS on a BitLocker-enabled system. If BitLocker is not enabled on your system, you can ignore this step. Note 2: Do not turn off power or interrupt BIOS update process during the update.
BIOS Update Executable for Windows
Download 1. Click Download File, to download the file. 2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Run the BIOS update utility from Windows environment 1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file. 2. Press Yes to confirm the BIOS version you want to update and start BIOS Update process. 3. After BIOS update finishes, press Yes and then system will shut down. Power on the system for the update to take effect. 4. If you are only updating BIOS, after the BIOS update finishes, press Yes and then system will restart automatically for the update to take effect.
