HDX RealTime Media Engine (RTME) within Citrix Workspace App 2109 package is updated to version 2.9.400.
Session reliability enhancement - The screen changes when session reliability begins. The session window is disabled and a countdown timer with the time until the next reconnection attempt is displayed. This feature is only supported on Citrix Virtual Desktops.

Known issue: Citrix session gets disconnected if Adaptive Audio is enabled when you connect to a VDI desktop that runs on Citrix VDA 2109. You must disable Adaptive Audio function to connect to Citrix VDA 2109 desktop. - If you are using Desktop Delivery Controller (DDC) version 2109, you can find the Adaptive Audio policy, and disable it using the policy settings. - If you are using DDC version 1912, change the registry value of REG_DWORD EnableAdaptiveAudio to 0 in the registry path HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Audio.
Install the application package using Wyse Management Suite: Prerequisites - Upgrade the ThinOS firmware to 9.1.4234 before you install this package. - The thin client must be registered to Wyse Management Suite. - Create a group in Wyse Management Suite with a group token. NOTE: If you have an existing group with a valid group token, you can register the thin client to the same group. - Ensure you have downloaded the application package. Steps 1. Go to the Groups & Configs page and select a group. 2. From the Edit Policies drop-down menu, click ThinOS 9.x. The Configuration Control | ThinOS window is displayed. 3. In the left pane, click Standard. 4. From the Standard menu, expand Firmware, and click Application Package Updates. NOTE: If you cannot locate the Application Package Updates option under the Standard tab, use the Advanced tab. 5. Click Browse and select the application package to upload. 6. From the drop-down menu, select the uploaded application package. 7. Click Save & Publish. The thin client downloads the package to install and restarts. The package version is upgraded.
