Fixes:
- This release contains security updates as disclosed in the Dell Security Advisory DSA-2025-229. - Fixed the issue where the Wi-Fi connection is lost when the system is in battery mode. This issue occurs on systems with the MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi card and the Windows 10 operating system.

Enhancements:
- Added support for the Wireless Radio Control function on systems with the MediaTek 7925 Wi-Fi card and the Windows 10 operating system.
- This release contains certified drivers for Windows 10 April 2018 Update, Windows 10 October 2018 Update, Windows 10 May 2019 Update, Windows 10 May 2020 Update, and Windows 11 October 2024 Update.

Important Information

- After you install this update, the MediaTek MT7920, MT7921, and MT7922 Wi-Fi version that is displayed in Device Manager is 3.4.0.1304.
- After you install this update, the MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi version that is displayed in Device Manager for the Windows 11 operating system is 5.6.0.4093.
- After you install this update, the MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi version that is displayed in Device Manager for the Windows 10 operating system is 3.4.0.1304.
- WLAN drivers take no more than 3 minutes to be installed on your system. You can install the updates in the background while using the system.

Installation instructions

Dell Update Package Instructions

Note: Your system requires a restart after installing the driver. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.

Download
1. Click Download File.
2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read the information in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites that are identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

For Thin Client systems

Note: If the driver size is more than 900 MB, ensure to increase the RAM Disk Size to 1000 MB before installing the driver. If RAM Disk is not available, follow the below steps.

1. Log in to the Administrator account on the Thin Client.
2. Disable the Write Filter (WF) by double-clicking the WF Disable icon on the desktop.
The system auto reboots.
3. Log in to the Administrator account on the Thin Client.
4. Click Download File.
5. Double-click the EXE/MSI file and follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Enable the Write Filter by double-clicking WF Enable icon on the desktop.
The system auto reboots.
